Kevin Burke is a Florida attorney who is a Florida International Notary appointed by the Florida Department of State in 2004 further to Florida Statute 695.03(3). His fee is based on time spent on an hourly rate of £215 per hour or part thereof. There is a minimum fee of £75 which covers 20 minutes. By way of example, if 45 minutes is spent in completing the notarisation, then the fee would be 161.25. Please note that the time a notarisation takes determines the amount invoiced. VAT is not applicable. You will need to bring two forms of I.D., one being a passport or drivers licence, and the second being an original bank statement or utility bill being no more that three months old. An apostille can be obtained from the Florida Department of State in relation to any documents I notarise as a Florida civil law notary. See the list of appointed FCLN Notaries at: https://www.dos.myflorida.com/sunbiz/other-services/notaries/civil-law-notary. A Florida Civil-Law Notary must be an attorney who is a member of the Florida Bar in good standing, and who has been in practice for at least 5 years. An apostille can be obtained in relation to anything I notarise as a Florida civil law notary.
